First it was Jay Leno doing a free gig for the impoverished auto workers in Michigan. Now, it’s Marshall Mather’s turn to lift up their spirits even for just one night. Eminem will fly 200 workers affected by the Big 3 crisis to Hollywood to hold a free concert over at Jimmy Kimmel’s show. Such is a joint effort by Kimmel and Mathers to ‘lose themselves’ up a bit in the midst of the downturn they are experiencing. If you remember, the rapper starred in the critically-acclaimed blue collared worker film 8 Mile, which grabbed the Best Song in the Academy Awards a couple of years ago. It was also rumored that during the concert, Mathers will be riding in the Pontiac Garage. Hope that this would be exciting.
